Maddy's Story
Maddy Allchurch started at MPS Law as a Paralegal in July 2024. She has since been admitted to practice, becoming a Graduate Lawyer in August 2025. She has completed a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Environmental Policy and Management at the University of Adelaide, graduating in November 2024.
During her time at University, Maddy was a recipient of the 2024 New Columbo Plan Mobility Grant, involving a study tour to Malaysia to study Indigenous land management. She also won the 2023 Adelaide University Law School Society Negotiation Competition and was a representative for Adelaide University at the Australian Law Students Association Negotiations Competition in Sydney. She also volunteered her time to judge and manage law school competitions for other students.
While new to practicing, Maddy is passionate about self-determination and strives to deliver client-centered respectful services. Aside from her work at MPS Law, Maddy has placed a focus on access to justice, working as a Student Legal Advisor in the Magistrates Court, and a Clerk at the Legal Services Commission.
In her time away from work, Maddy enjoys exploring the South Australian environment, camping, swimming and fishing.
