Young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander directors around Australia continue the legacy of their elders, to protect country and promote economic empowerment for First Nations. In this short film, two young Antakirinja Matu-Yankunytjatjara directors share their insights, as members of the next generation of leaders in their community of Coober Pedy in South Australia’s Far North.
The short film was screened at the 2025 AIATSIS Summit, as part of a presentation on the challenges and opportunities for young First Nation directors.
