MPS Law opened in 2016, but our Principal Michael Pagsanjan, has a long list of accolades and contributed to many milestone developments of the law. These achievements are recognition of the entire team at MPS Law.

In 2017, our Principal Michael Pagsanjan achieved national accreditation as a mediator and listing as a Federal Court approved native title mediator. This listing was re-achieved in 2020.

In 2018, Michael was recognised for outstanding contributions to the legal profession and community by the Law Society of South Australia as the Young Lawyer of the Year.

In 2019, Michael was recognised as one of South Australia’s top business leaders in the InDaily 40 under 40 awards.

More recently, our team advised and negotiated the landmark Yamatji Nation settlement, worth over $400 million, and made public at a consent determination on 7 February 2020.

In 2020, our Principal was further recognised in the Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year Awards. In 2021, our Principal was listed in both the Chambers Asia-Pacific Guide and Doyle’s Guide.

Our expert team currently represents a number of clients in native title matters, including native title claim groups, Indigenous Corporations, Native Title Representative Bodies and Service Providers, project proponents and Government organisations.
